World Mission Society Church of God’s view on abortion
The World Mission Society Church of God doesn’t encourage abortion!
Frank and Melissa are members of the World Mission Society Church of God, and they disagree with people that dis-inform the public about the Church, mainly on the accusation that the Church encourages its members to have abortions, and that members with children are not treated well in the Church. Watch them explain their story in this video. Frank and Melissa would like to clarify the lies and rumors about how the World Mission Society Church of God encourages its members to have abortions when they are expecting a child, and that the Church looks down on its members who have children. To put it in their own words:
My name is Frank Rodriguez and this is my wife Melissa and my daughter Amelia. We are members of the World Mission Society Church of God. I myself for 4 years, my wife for 7 years and my daughter has been in the church her whole life. There are many rumors saying that our church does not allow members to have children and recommend abortions. On the second year while I was in the church my wife became pregnant, and my pastor and the leaders of the Church of God were so happy about us having our first child. Everyone congratulated us. Since the Church of God believes in the spiritual family system – Father, Mother, and us; children, it doesn’t make sense if the members oppose the physical family system. Come to the Church and see for yourself the truth behind these accusations and stop listening to those false rumors.
Just like Frank and Melissa, many other members of the World Mission Society Church of God can easily disprove the false accusations being made against the Church. This is true, it’s so absurd what people say that the wmscog tells people not to have children. In our church I have been to 4 baby showers between last year and this year alone! And thanks to God there is more on the way! People just want to find ways to make our church look bad because they dont want to agree with the teaching from the bible and have a hard time arguing it.

This is totally true!! I’ve been a member of the Church of God for 4 years and about a month after attending the church my husband and I found out we were expecting a baby. From the beginning of my pregnancy until this day which my son Noah who is now 3! I’ve been receiving nothing but love support and encouragement from the Church of God especially the leaders!! All of the rumors people spread are not true! Come to our church so that you can see the facts for yourself and receive salvation !

So the church teaches that families are beautiful and even teach Biblical evidence that we have spiritual parents (God as our Father and our Mother) turns around and teaches that it is wrong to have children? That doesn’t even make sense. Families are a precious and beautiful part of life. The World Mission Society Church of God taught me how much I should appreciate my mom and dad for everything they did for me – as I can understand God’s love through even my own parents.
The church leaders never teach against the members having children. Seriously.

Thank you for posting this, because of the rumors that people say on the internet many people dont come and study the Bible. The rumors are clearly not true at all and its a fact that the WMS Church of God loves families and encourages us to be close to all our family members. Abortion isnt even brought up in the church becuase its not something that any other the members that I have met have a problem with. Thank you for this post and if I hear anyone saying any of these kinds of rumors I will definietly make sure they see the true testimonies on this website and the videos that the members themselves made. The Church of God is so amazing, God bless you!

There is absolutely no truth to this. Since 2011 I have been a member of WMSCOG and I have seen many members who are pregnant and have given birth. Just recently we have had the pleasure of welcoming two new baby girls into our Zion. We love our new tiny additions and welcome many more that will be born this year.

Their accusation is senseless. This video is proof that the World Mission Society Church of God does not encourage abortion–but instead supports members who are expecting children.

I am saddened for those who are deceived by illogical false claims such as this one.
As a member of the Church of God I have only seen encouragement, love and support given to the members who have grown their family. In just a few years, many new souls (babies) have been born of members of the Church of God location that I attend regularly. Each of these families have been embraced and fill our church with even more joy and smiles!
Thanks to God these souls have the blessing to be born through Children of God and they each can be brought up not only having awesome physical parents but also knowing and worshiping true God Almighty, our Heavenly Father and Mother!

We shouldn’t have to post videos like this, but when people are happy and thriving and doing well for themselves, there’s always those few we all know as HATERS, doing the only thing they know how to do- hating. My wife and I are members of WMSCOG and we are expecting. We receive nothing but congratulations because just like the Bible says, we are all family under God ( Father and Mother) God bless you.

My family and I are member of the Church of God and the support that my family receives is amazing. Everyone in the church love my 3 little ones so much. We are so lucky to have been called by God. Raising my children in the Church of God is such a blessing. Thank you Father and Mother.

In every Church of God I have been to I have always seen happy, well-behaved children. God regards all life as precious and I have never even heard mention abortion while being in the church for 3 years.

I’ve been a member of the Church of God for about 10 year. I have a 7 month old with my wife. We were never told to have an abortion. In fact, families makes up for about 40% of the members int he church if not more. I’m judging based on my experience not official figures. Therefore the rumor that members are encouraged to have abortions is a total lie. In fact when I told the Church leader that my wife and I were expecting a child we were so encouraged and felt the love of God through him.

Church of God gives the best education in all aspects to the children , we believe children are the future of the gospel therefore we can not juge base on people misunderstanding. Leading memebers to practice abortion is not a teaching of the church of God this is a false statement

I m still member of Church of God world mission society. and I was a assistant overseer of this church.i have a baby name sergius karki now he is 8 months. he is preterm (7months) im from Lalitpur church nepal. What do u think Our church is encouraging abortion?
