Simply by reading the preface of the book “The New Jerusalem and the Bride: Interpretation on Women’s Veil,” we can understand the situation at that time and why Christ Ahnsahnghong published the book.
This is from the preface of the book:
This book is to clarify the mistakes of the books that Um Soo In published, and to testify briefly about the unchangeable truth of the Church of God… Women like Um Soo In appeared and caused big problems with their impertinent thoughts. How can they expect to be forgiven?… From now on, let us find the mistakes one by one in the books that Um Soo In wrote.
No book written by Christ Ahnsahnghong addresses a single person by name, except in this book. Here, Christ Ahnsahnghong mentions Um Soo In’s name. By seeing this, we can easily understand that this book was written in order to settle the problem at that time.
“If Christ Ahnsahnghong is God, He should have known that Um Soo In would look into His bag. Why didn’t he prevent her from doing so?”
This reasoning can also be applied to Jesus’ first coming. 2,000 years ago, did Jesus know that Judas Iscariot would betray Him? Yes! Jesus knew, but He still let it happen. Does this make Jesus not the Christ? Absolutely not! Jesus let it happen so prophecy would be fulfilled. In the same way, Christ Ahnsahnghong let the situation with Um Soo In unfold so everyone would know He had already planned to reveal the existence of Heavenly Mother in due time.
What I mean by this is the following: Today, many people say that the idea of Heavenly Mother was made up by General Pastor and Mother after Christ Ahhsahnghong passed away. If that’s the case, how did Um Soo In get the idea that there is a Heavenly Mother, if not because Christ Ahnsahnghong had already prepared all the material before 1983 to testify about Mother?

Those who speak against the World Mission Society Church of God and Heavenly Mother use this paragraph in Fathers book to include Heavenly Mother as a woman “like Um Soo In.” However, Christ Ahnsahnghong explained that the problem with Um Soo In were her “impertinent thoughts.” She proclaimed herself to be the Bride and taught church members that wearing the veil was not important during the time of worship.
Heavenly Mother Jerusalem is nothing like Um Soo In because she did not proclaim Herself as the Bride. Instead, Christ Ahnsahnghong testified about Her being the Bride. There are no similarities between Heavenly Mother and Um Soo In, thus making the argument that Mother is like Um Soo In invalid.

Um Soo In, clearly doesn’t know the bible,so she cannot be God…
Father will establish Jerusalem and make her the praise of the earth.
And if the bridegroom says your__not__ my wife”bride”,there cannot be a wedding banquet. -
I would have never imagined that Chris AhnSahngHong let this situation happen with um soo in so that the members would know at that time that He had already planned to reveal Jerusalem Mother in due time. He really thought of not just the members at that time but even the ones who.are coming now to The Church Of God. It is moving to see how God didn’t leave room for any doubt or any mistake in His plan of administration.

God is amazing and all knowing! The comparison of Um Soo In to Judas Ischariot is very shocking yet true. No one can stop the plans of God Almighty because God leads true believers to the preordained victory against falsehood and deceivers. Through prophecy fulfillment, we can recognize this.
Christ pointed to Judas being the one who would betray Him in front of the loyal disciples. This one prophecy fulfilled led to the fulfillment of other prophecies such as the sad details of the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Christ. In the same way, the prophecies of false Christs appearing had to be fulfilled once God came in the flesh again enduring hardship and persecution to complete God’s plan to shepherd us and grant us eternal life. Our Father Ahnsahnghong testified to our Heavenly Mother as the Bridegroom must unveil His Bride, the Wife of the Lamb, as prophesied in the Bible. Father’s work not only confirms Him as the Second Coming of Christ but also confirms the appearance of our Heavenly Mother and the recognition of Her deeds to reunite our Heavenly family and give us eternal life. Truly amazing!
We must not treat prophecies with contempt because they are the tools left by God for us to have firm faith in our Saviors. Um Soo In posed as a bride testifying falsehood upon herself and blatantly opposes the Biblical teachings of the veil so she surely is not the one to follow. She reaps what she sows. Seek God with all of your heart, mind and soul because the Spirit and the Bride have come to offer us the free gift of the water of life — eternal life. Let’s give thanks to God always!

Another thought is that when Um Soo In proclaimed herself to be the bride, she then continued to teach non-biblical teachings…. Heavenly Mother continues to teach and follow the Bible 100%.

Jesus Christ allowed Judas to become a disciple.
Even though Judas walked with Jesus for such a long time, did He expose who Judas was right away?
Instead…Jesus allowed Judas to do what he came to do.
It is the same with Um Soo.

Where did Um Soo In get the idea that there is a Heavenly Mother??? It was from our Father Christ Ahnsahnghong! This statement alone should clarify everything. Um Soo In attended the World Mission Society Church of God in the churchs beginning stages. Then where do you think she learned about Heavenly Mother? It was from our Father Ahnsahnghong.
Truly thankful to read this article. So amazing that Father’s truth is so perfect. There is no error in it.
