Christ Ahnsahnghong cannot be Christ because He died

Man is confused regarding questions about Christ Ahnsahnghong

According to Romans 6:9 Christ Ahnsahnghong is not Christ

One of the favorite verses in the Bible of those who speak against the World Mission Society Church of God and Christ Ahnsahnghong is Romans chapter 6 verse 9.

Romans 6:9 – For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

They quote this verse and say: “The Bible says that Jesus cannot die again after His death on the cross. But Christ Ahnsahnghong died so He cannot be Christ.”

I see It looks like they have a point … hmmmmm…. Not really!

According to Isaiah 43:11 Jesus is a false prophet

2,000 years ago when God came in the flesh for the first time, the only Scriptures that existed were the scriptures of the Old Testament – from Genesis to Malachi — and in those scriptures, you could find the following verse in the Book of Isaiah:

Isaiah 43:11 – I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no savior. – ASV—

Using this verse alone, many people could have easily rejected Jesus as the Savior, solely on the basis of that one verse. They could have easily said: “Since it is written in Isaiah 43:11 that there is no other Savior except God Jehovah, then Jesus of Nazareth is a false Messiah.”

But thankfully the Bible is not just one verse. If we analyze many other prophecies in other passages of the Old Testament, and their fulfillment in Jesus Christ, we can realize that Jesus is the Messiah and He doesn’t contradict Isaiah 43:11. The reason why proclaiming Jesus as the savior does not contradict Isaiah 43:11 is that the book of Isaiah was written before Jesus was born, and of course, at that time, the only Savior was Jehovah God, so it is quite natural that Isaiah 43:11 is written in that way.

It is the same way with Romans 6:9 and Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Romans 6:9 does not deny Christ Ahnsahnghong as the Savior

Then what is the correct meaning of Romans 6:9? This verse does not mean that Jesus cannot die again regardless of the situation. If we examine the contents from the beginning of the chapter, we can understand what the verse is talking about.

Romans 6:3-4 – Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

As we can see, the verse is making a comparison of the life that Jesus lived – His death and resurrection—and how we who participate in His life will receive the same benefits. Let’s continue:

Romans 6:5-9If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection… Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

What Apostle Paul is trying to explain in chapter 6 of the book of Romans is that since Jesus was resurrected, He will not die again. In other words, Jesus who was resurrected from the dead will live eternally. This was written to let us understand that Jesus showed His resurrection beforehand to demonstrate to us how we will be resurrected.

Everything Christ did was an example of what will happen to those who follow in His footsteps

Everything Jesus Christ did was an example for us who follow in His footsteps. (1 Peter 2:21)

• We receive baptism as Christians because Jesus was baptized. (Luke 3:21)

• We keep the Sabbath Day because Jesus kept it. (Luke 4:16)

• We keep the Passover of the New Covenant because Jesus kept it. (Luke 22:13-15)

• We preach the gospel because Jesus preached it. (Luke 4:43)

Therefore, if we follow faithfully in the example of Christ, we have the hope to be resurrected and will not die again.

When we examine all the verses in the Bible, which testify to our resurrection, consistently, we can see that all the verses place emphasis on the fact that we will not die again.

Luke 20:35-36 – “But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection.”

1 Corinthians 15:54 – When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

The Bible also testifies that the kingdom of heaven where we will go after we are resurrected is a place without death!

Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

This is something Apostle Paul understood and was trying to explain to the Romans in his letter. Christ did not just die, but He was resurrected and lives eternally in Heaven. For this reason, we can have faith that if we follow His example, we too will be resurrected and live eternally in heaven.

Romans 6:5 – If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

Therefore, isn’t it quite natural to say that Jesus, who resurrected, cannot die again and that death can no longer rule over Him?

So Romans 6:9 testifies to the state of resurrection and has nothing to do with either Jesus’ second coming in the flesh or His death.

What happens if Jesus, who stayed in an immortal spiritual body, came again in the flesh?

Since He came in the flesh, not in the resurrected spiritual body, He can die as much as He wants to and it would not violate Romans 6:9 at all.

Therefore, it is wrong to deny the Second Coming Jesus by distorting the meaning of the words in Romans 6:9.

Christ does everything according to prophecy

Some skeptics might say: “Well, Jesus resurrected after His crucifixion and that is why we believe that He is the Savior. However Christ Ahnsahnghong did not resurrect after His death. Therefore, He is not the Savior.”

For those who think like this, let me clarify one thing: The only reason the resurrection of Jesus took place was to fulfill  Bible prophecy:

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 – For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…

Jesus resurrected according to the Scriptures. With this in mind:

Can you show one verse in the Bible where it says that Second Coming Christ has to resurrect? There isn’t.

However, there are many prophecies that do show that Second Coming Christ has to pass away, which you can learn at your nearest World Mission Society Church of God.

No where in the bible does it say that 2nd coming Christ has to resurrect. Just like 2, 000 years ago Christ came in the flesh and fulfilled many prophecies, Christ Ahnsahnghong, 2nd coming Christ, has to fulfill the prophecies written throughout the bible, Mat 5:7. There is no other reason why we in the WMSCOG would proclaim Christ Ahnsahnghong as our savior all throughout the world. Jesus Christ showed us that we can have hope in resurrecting, and Christ Ahnsahnghong showed us that he restored the way to heaven through the prophecies he fulfilled. If we focus on only one verse in the context instead of it as a whole we can easily misinterpreted the verse but it’s so clear. God didn’t testify himself through one verse but with the entire bible that consists of 66 perfect books.

When you understand what the bible is saying in full context you can see there is no fault in Christ Ahnsahnghong

We must not interpret the Bible but come to understand the prophecies given to us in order to recognize our Savior. God has a purpose and a will behind everything He does as well as an appointed time in revealing them. As Jesus Christ had to come and die for our sins so he will appear again in the flesh to bring salvation but with a New Name. It is common sense that flesh cannot live forever which is why Christ Ahnsahnghong, Second Coming Christ, had to die. In addition, in order to fulfill the prophecy of King David, Christ Ahnsahnghong had to pass after 37 years of doing the gospel. How amazing for “a man” to publically proclaim his death four years in advance and testify that King David’s throne would be fulfilled. How is that even possible? It’s because Christ Ahnsahnghong is God. Then those who insist that He is not God because he died, they are the fulfillment of Matthew 22:29!

It’s understandable how people can be misled by slanderers with this verse. But what is even more amazing, is when you look at the full context of what Apostle Paul was writing in his letter. We have the promise of resurrection when we follow God’s will!! People have no real evidence against Father Ahnsahnghong because truly He has fulfilled Bible prophecy being the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. He has given us so much hope for eternal life by bringing all the truth back. Truly what has happened in the passed is written to teach us, this is why we have to diligently study what God gave us in the Bible. Thanks to God for this article and giving us more armor of God!

We can not say such a false accusation about Christ with out understanding the scriptures. This was written in the time of Jesus Christ speaking only about the savior in that age meaning Jesus could not die again in his resurrected spiritual body because he received eternal life after undergoing the path of Christ on Earth. This is showing that we too all if we follow the path of Christ will be resurrected and not die again. This does not imply to Christ Ahnsahnghong. Christ can die as many times as he wants in the flesh without violating this verse. He had to die in order to fulfill the prophect of K. David, Melchizedek, The last Elijah, Sanctuary, and so many more. If he would not have died then the prophecied in the bible would not be fulfilled.

I am a member of the WMSCOG and I know that Christ came to fulfill prophecy and He came as a slave to prophecy, so that I may have 100% faith in His words, 100% hope for a resurrection like His. Christ’s administration of redemption spans a period of 6,000 years. There is 6,000 years of prophecies fulfilled by Christ, and very few left to be fulfilled. Slanderers of the WMSCOG do not understand the words in the Bible and distort the words of the Bible to fit into their wrongful teachings. If you want to learn the true teachings of Jesus Christ and Christ Ahnsahnghong and Their examples shown in the Bible, please visit your local WMSCOG for a better understanding. Thanks to Christ Ahnsahnghong for this perfect truth and love for us.

I’m so grateful for this article because it confirms once again the importance of understanding the contents of the bible and the prophecies and not just memorizing verses like false churches do. How can you be a minister of the gospel without knowing the gospel nor obeying the gospel? How can you say someone is not the 2nd coming of Christ when you dont even know the prophecies about the 2nd coming of Christ? God could have made the scriptures straightforward like a “how to” book but instead he gave us a book of prophecies and said “hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Rev 3:13) to hear the Spirit you must have Spiritual ears that can only be given by God. So to those who know the prophecies know that Christ Ahnsahnghong’s death IS part of prophecy fulfillment and confirms he IS GOD.

This article is excellent! Everything Christ did was according to prophecy- His birth, life, death, resurrection, and even every word He spoke! Instead of looking at everything judgmentally, why not study the scriptures and see actually how much effort God put into proving that He is the Messiah that was testified to come! Christ Ahnsahnghong IS the second coming of Christ according to scriptures and He too lived His entire life according to prophecy in order to save us. We should be thankful and receive Him – not rejecting Him like the people did at His first coming

For anyone reading this who is having doubts- there are many things that may seem to understand at first (which doesn’t make them untrue) but with study and effort, become amazing things!

I believe in Christ AhnSahngHong more!!! Because he accended after fulfilling the prophecies of the Bible! Thank you for this post!

  10. Antonia

Nice post Alex lee completely agree. He IS the Christ because he died according to the bible. Just like Jesus 2,000 yrs ago he did everything according to the prophesies written about him so that we could believe. Most people don’t know anything about the first coming of Christ so how can you judge us who believe in the second coming of Christ? Very well written article!

  11. Kelvin R.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…. Many people have a lazy faith and place there believes in God on one verse when the bible is composed of 66 books. We need to educate ourselves in order to come to a solid understanding of the prophecies of God. In the bible is written that our father is to come a second time to bring salvation and he is to die in order for the prophecy to be fulfilled. Christ Ahnsahnghohg had to die in accordance to the scriptures and for this reason is that we believe that he is God almighty. Please visit your nearest WMSCOG and receive the knowledge of God from the scriptures.

Just as the disciples recognized Jesus through the prophesies of the Old Testament which testified about the savior who would come, in the same way, we recognize Ahnsahnghong as 2nd coming Christ because of ALL the prophesies He fulfilled in both the Old and New Testaments. The bible is composed of 66 books so people shouldn’t base their judgement on 1 verse alone.

Through Jesus’ example of showing us His death and resurrection through Romans chapter 6, we who obey and follow in His example of sacrifice and love, will receive the same benefits. We believe 100% in Christ Ahnsahnghong because He passed away according to bible prophesy.

Please don’t judge based on other people’s opinions, come for a bible study at our church so you can see why we are so full of joy and hope for heaven.

  13. Deloy

Wow it is so easy to be mislead just by looking only at one verse, we must take a look at the whole bible, and the WMSCOG is the only church that can connect and make sense of all the 66 books of the Bible, this is so amazing!

  14. Vanessa Sanchez

GBY! The fact that Christ Ahnsahnghong passed away is what makes Him the second coming Christ, God Almighty. The only thing to recognize God in the flesh is scripture, and scripture clearly testifies what God must do at His first coming and second coming when He’s on earth.

  15. Jordan

Wow, when we take the full bible into context and realize the propieces we can see how great God’s plan is. Father Christ AhnSahngHong fulfilled all those prophecies and THAT is why we believe in him. I hope people can realize his divinity through the scriptures without using just a single verse to think otherwise but rather like the Disciples, acknowledge Christ as our savior who comes according to the prophecies.
