Christ Ahnsahnghong cannot be Christ because He died

Man is confused regarding questions about Christ Ahnsahnghong

According to Romans 6:9 Christ Ahnsahnghong is not Christ

One of the favorite verses in the Bible of those who speak against the World Mission Society Church of God and Christ Ahnsahnghong is Romans chapter 6 verse 9.

Romans 6:9 – For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

They quote this verse and say: “The Bible says that Jesus cannot die again after His death on the cross. But Christ Ahnsahnghong died so He cannot be Christ.”

I see It looks like they have a point … hmmmmm…. Not really!

According to Isaiah 43:11 Jesus is a false prophet

2,000 years ago when God came in the flesh for the first time, the only Scriptures that existed were the scriptures of the Old Testament – from Genesis to Malachi — and in those scriptures, you could find the following verse in the Book of Isaiah:

Isaiah 43:11 – I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no savior. – ASV—

Using this verse alone, many people could have easily rejected Jesus as the Savior, solely on the basis of that one verse. They could have easily said: “Since it is written in Isaiah 43:11 that there is no other Savior except God Jehovah, then Jesus of Nazareth is a false Messiah.”

But thankfully the Bible is not just one verse. If we analyze many other prophecies in other passages of the Old Testament, and their fulfillment in Jesus Christ, we can realize that Jesus is the Messiah and He doesn’t contradict Isaiah 43:11. The reason why proclaiming Jesus as the savior does not contradict Isaiah 43:11 is that the book of Isaiah was written before Jesus was born, and of course, at that time, the only Savior was Jehovah God, so it is quite natural that Isaiah 43:11 is written in that way.

It is the same way with Romans 6:9 and Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Romans 6:9 does not deny Christ Ahnsahnghong as the Savior

Then what is the correct meaning of Romans 6:9? This verse does not mean that Jesus cannot die again regardless of the situation. If we examine the contents from the beginning of the chapter, we can understand what the verse is talking about.

Romans 6:3-4 – Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

As we can see, the verse is making a comparison of the life that Jesus lived – His death and resurrection—and how we who participate in His life will receive the same benefits. Let’s continue:

Romans 6:5-9If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection… Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

What Apostle Paul is trying to explain in chapter 6 of the book of Romans is that since Jesus was resurrected, He will not die again. In other words, Jesus who was resurrected from the dead will live eternally. This was written to let us understand that Jesus showed His resurrection beforehand to demonstrate to us how we will be resurrected.

Everything Christ did was an example of what will happen to those who follow in His footsteps

Everything Jesus Christ did was an example for us who follow in His footsteps. (1 Peter 2:21)

• We receive baptism as Christians because Jesus was baptized. (Luke 3:21)

• We keep the Sabbath Day because Jesus kept it. (Luke 4:16)

• We keep the Passover of the New Covenant because Jesus kept it. (Luke 22:13-15)

• We preach the gospel because Jesus preached it. (Luke 4:43)

Therefore, if we follow faithfully in the example of Christ, we have the hope to be resurrected and will not die again.

When we examine all the verses in the Bible, which testify to our resurrection, consistently, we can see that all the verses place emphasis on the fact that we will not die again.

Luke 20:35-36 – “But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection.”

1 Corinthians 15:54 – When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

The Bible also testifies that the kingdom of heaven where we will go after we are resurrected is a place without death!

Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

This is something Apostle Paul understood and was trying to explain to the Romans in his letter. Christ did not just die, but He was resurrected and lives eternally in Heaven. For this reason, we can have faith that if we follow His example, we too will be resurrected and live eternally in heaven.

Romans 6:5 – If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

Therefore, isn’t it quite natural to say that Jesus, who resurrected, cannot die again and that death can no longer rule over Him?

So Romans 6:9 testifies to the state of resurrection and has nothing to do with either Jesus’ second coming in the flesh or His death.

What happens if Jesus, who stayed in an immortal spiritual body, came again in the flesh?

Since He came in the flesh, not in the resurrected spiritual body, He can die as much as He wants to and it would not violate Romans 6:9 at all.

Therefore, it is wrong to deny the Second Coming Jesus by distorting the meaning of the words in Romans 6:9.

Christ does everything according to prophecy

Some skeptics might say: “Well, Jesus resurrected after His crucifixion and that is why we believe that He is the Savior. However Christ Ahnsahnghong did not resurrect after His death. Therefore, He is not the Savior.”

For those who think like this, let me clarify one thing: The only reason the resurrection of Jesus took place was to fulfill  Bible prophecy:

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 – For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…

Jesus resurrected according to the Scriptures. With this in mind:

Can you show one verse in the Bible where it says that Second Coming Christ has to resurrect? There isn’t.

However, there are many prophecies that do show that Second Coming Christ has to pass away, which you can learn at your nearest World Mission Society Church of God.

Wait, so you mean to tell me that they don’t believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong because he died? Hmmmm.. This reminds of something

“In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:41-42‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Even through the way they slander Father they are fulfilling prophecy. We must look at Christ through the eyes of prophecy not from the view point of a pastor or priest.

“So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thankful for this post/explanation! When I first joined the Church of God this was one of the questions in my mind that I struggled with. Through studying the bible I was able to understand why Christ Ahnsahnghong had to die, and my faith in God increased all the more. I know that many others have this question too so I’m glad that the truth has been exposed.

Contrary to the world’s understanding of Jesus and Second Coming Christ, the Bible lets us know that Jesus is to return in the flesh and also die in the flesh in accordance with the prophecies of Second Coming Christ. Even though naysayers point to Rom. 6:9 in attempt to discredit Christ Ahnsahnghong, no verses in the Bible negate explicitly or implicitly that Second Coming Christ cannot die. Simply robbing verses of their context does little to explain or support the fallacies they believe. And indeed, the very fact that Christ Ahnsahnghong died proves all the more that he is the true Christ who was to appear in the last days.

Jesus ascending to the kingdom of Heaven gives us hope, knowing that if we follow in his footsteps we too will rise to immortality. But this fact does not have anything to do with Christ’s second coming. I am grateful that the author makes that distinction so clear.

    Thank you for this explanation!

Christ Ahnsahnghong is the living God. one verse taken out of context and be the beginning of the end for some people please take time read the prophecies and study the word of God before you judge. Christ Ahnsahnghong must die in order to fulfill other Prophecy. Mother came to this earth after Father went back to Heaven he made ready the path for Her.

You know, even the Pharisees paid off the Roman soldiers to lie about the Ressurection even though they witnessed prophecy being fulfilled. It’s the same now. Father Ahnsahnfhibg died to fulfill prophecy. Instead of repenting, people use it as an excuse not to believe.

When studying the Bible which is full of God’s true words we cannot just read it with our own knowledge. Some say that accoringd to Romans 6:9 the second coming of Christ is not the true Christ because in the verse it qouts that Christ cannot die again. Though that verse may seem or sound correct in that term it isn’t. First we must think if that verse was correct about the second coming then also Isaiah 43:11 saying ” besides me there is no other…” Would deny Jesus and the second coming of Christ. We must understand that that verse was referring to the Old Testament times of Jehovah God, So it was correct to only believe in the one God Jehovah. In the case of Romans verse 6:9 if we read some verses back(6:3-4) we can understand that everything that Christ didnwas an example set for what will also happen to those who follow in the same steps of Christ. Even if he died again and again it wouldn’t deny the second coming of Christ because that prophecy was to be fulfilled through the fist coming of Christ.

The most high God came to this world not once but twice to show set the example that we should follow. The bible is a book of prophecy in which only God can fulfill. How much mercy God has for us his children that he even left all evidence for us to have no doubt. Thank you so much Heavenly Father Ahnsahnhong.

  10. Krissy

I am so thankful that I was able to study with an open mind and see the prophecies in the bible that testify to Christ Ahnsanghong. It is amazing to see how one verse can be interpreted so many ways, when taken out of context. This is why there are so many doctrines for one bible. This article lays it out in a way where the bible interprets itself and has clarified for me exactly what the bible was saying about Christ both in first coming and second coming. It makes perfect sense!

  11. Josh

I cannot believe your flawed explanation. You are judging the actual content and trying to prove Ahnsahngong is christ.

    I have some questions?
    1. Was ahnsahngong born of a virgin? If yes.How. if not, why.
    2. Why was Jesus born of a virgin. Any specific reason other then fulfillment of scripture?
    3. Are we all humans affected by the original sin of Adam and Eve? Was Jesus also affected by this sin?
    4. Has the Kingdom of God come already? Or is it yet to come?

    • The True WMSCOG

      1. He was not. Because there is no prophecy that says that 2nd coming Christ has to be born of a virgin.
      2. Jesus was born of a virgin to fulfill prophecy. Isaiah 7:14
      3. Everyone is affected by their own sin. Ezekiel 18:20. Jesus died for our sins.
      4. Is yet to come.

  12. Josh

If Ahnsahngong died. And his coming was second coming. Is there a third coming of Christ?

    • The True WMSCOG

That would be the Judgment day, we don’t really call it the third coming of Christ.

  13. af ofmo

We must not see physical condition of Christ.
If we want to be saved we have to see the fulfillment of prophecy, not physical condition of Christ.
We couldn’t be saved if we take note of physical circumstances.
We should carefully see the fufillment of the Bible, having the prophetic eyes.

  14. Barry Scott

The second coming of Christ is after the Rapture and Time of Tribulation. Did this happen in the 40’s? I never read about it in the paper. Just saying

    • The True WMSCOG

Where is that in the Bible?

  15. Caleb

Christ Ahnsahnghong is truly God almighty and he is to come to this earth, when we study prophecies in the bible we will meet him but if we don’t study prophecies we will fail to recognize the savior even though God appears in front of us.
