Christ Ahnsahnghong cannot be Christ because He died

Man is confused regarding questions about Christ Ahnsahnghong

According to Romans 6:9 Christ Ahnsahnghong is not Christ

One of the favorite verses in the Bible of those who speak against the World Mission Society Church of God and Christ Ahnsahnghong is Romans chapter 6 verse 9.

Romans 6:9 – For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

They quote this verse and say: “The Bible says that Jesus cannot die again after His death on the cross. But Christ Ahnsahnghong died so He cannot be Christ.”

I see It looks like they have a point … hmmmmm…. Not really!

According to Isaiah 43:11 Jesus is a false prophet

2,000 years ago when God came in the flesh for the first time, the only Scriptures that existed were the scriptures of the Old Testament – from Genesis to Malachi — and in those scriptures, you could find the following verse in the Book of Isaiah:

Isaiah 43:11 – I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no savior. – ASV—

Using this verse alone, many people could have easily rejected Jesus as the Savior, solely on the basis of that one verse. They could have easily said: “Since it is written in Isaiah 43:11 that there is no other Savior except God Jehovah, then Jesus of Nazareth is a false Messiah.”

But thankfully the Bible is not just one verse. If we analyze many other prophecies in other passages of the Old Testament, and their fulfillment in Jesus Christ, we can realize that Jesus is the Messiah and He doesn’t contradict Isaiah 43:11. The reason why proclaiming Jesus as the savior does not contradict Isaiah 43:11 is that the book of Isaiah was written before Jesus was born, and of course, at that time, the only Savior was Jehovah God, so it is quite natural that Isaiah 43:11 is written in that way.

It is the same way with Romans 6:9 and Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Romans 6:9 does not deny Christ Ahnsahnghong as the Savior

Then what is the correct meaning of Romans 6:9? This verse does not mean that Jesus cannot die again regardless of the situation. If we examine the contents from the beginning of the chapter, we can understand what the verse is talking about.

Romans 6:3-4 – Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

As we can see, the verse is making a comparison of the life that Jesus lived – His death and resurrection—and how we who participate in His life will receive the same benefits. Let’s continue:

Romans 6:5-9If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection… Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

What Apostle Paul is trying to explain in chapter 6 of the book of Romans is that since Jesus was resurrected, He will not die again. In other words, Jesus who was resurrected from the dead will live eternally. This was written to let us understand that Jesus showed His resurrection beforehand to demonstrate to us how we will be resurrected.

Everything Christ did was an example of what will happen to those who follow in His footsteps

Everything Jesus Christ did was an example for us who follow in His footsteps. (1 Peter 2:21)

• We receive baptism as Christians because Jesus was baptized. (Luke 3:21)

• We keep the Sabbath Day because Jesus kept it. (Luke 4:16)

• We keep the Passover of the New Covenant because Jesus kept it. (Luke 22:13-15)

• We preach the gospel because Jesus preached it. (Luke 4:43)

Therefore, if we follow faithfully in the example of Christ, we have the hope to be resurrected and will not die again.

When we examine all the verses in the Bible, which testify to our resurrection, consistently, we can see that all the verses place emphasis on the fact that we will not die again.

Luke 20:35-36 – “But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection.”

1 Corinthians 15:54 – When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

The Bible also testifies that the kingdom of heaven where we will go after we are resurrected is a place without death!

Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

This is something Apostle Paul understood and was trying to explain to the Romans in his letter. Christ did not just die, but He was resurrected and lives eternally in Heaven. For this reason, we can have faith that if we follow His example, we too will be resurrected and live eternally in heaven.

Romans 6:5 – If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

Therefore, isn’t it quite natural to say that Jesus, who resurrected, cannot die again and that death can no longer rule over Him?

So Romans 6:9 testifies to the state of resurrection and has nothing to do with either Jesus’ second coming in the flesh or His death.

What happens if Jesus, who stayed in an immortal spiritual body, came again in the flesh?

Since He came in the flesh, not in the resurrected spiritual body, He can die as much as He wants to and it would not violate Romans 6:9 at all.

Therefore, it is wrong to deny the Second Coming Jesus by distorting the meaning of the words in Romans 6:9.

Christ does everything according to prophecy

Some skeptics might say: “Well, Jesus resurrected after His crucifixion and that is why we believe that He is the Savior. However Christ Ahnsahnghong did not resurrect after His death. Therefore, He is not the Savior.”

For those who think like this, let me clarify one thing: The only reason the resurrection of Jesus took place was to fulfill  Bible prophecy:

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 – For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…

Jesus resurrected according to the Scriptures. With this in mind:

Can you show one verse in the Bible where it says that Second Coming Christ has to resurrect? There isn’t.

However, there are many prophecies that do show that Second Coming Christ has to pass away, which you can learn at your nearest World Mission Society Church of God.

Jesus came and did everything according to the prophecies, our Father Ahnsahnghong also did everything according to the prophecies and he died according to the prophecies. Only when we have understanding of the prophecies and believe in the Bible will we come to recognize the savior. Please take the time to visit our chuck and seek the truth, seek eternal life!

God provided His children with the bible so we can use it as a as guide which ultimately leads us to our Savior, who will grant us the goal of our faith, salvation (cf. 1Peter 1:8). In order for us to understand God’s administration in fulfilling this goal we must make sure to study the bible entirely not just basing our faith off of a single verse. By many people just reading a single verse they come up with many different interpretations, completely misunderstanding God’s meaning. That is why there are over 850 denominations in this world today because of the simple fact many people say “this is what God meant” when God had a totally different meaning. God warned those by saying “For my thoughts are not your thoughts”(cf. Isaiah 55:8). God taught his believers the only way we could understand who our Savior is in this age is ONLY through the bible (cf. John 5:39). We find many people misunderstanding Romans 6:9 because they focused on just one verse alone. They are the ones who study a single verse and miss out on the meaning God intended.

        Amen! God bless you, Charmaine!

We cannot just take one verse “Rom 6:9” and create a bias opinion on its contents, even the Bible itself let us know that every verse will have its mate(Isaiah 34:16). When Our Father came 2000 years ago, he fulfilled the prophecies that where meant to be fulfilled at that time and laid the foundation so that we may live the life he lived as the first born so that we as well may have hope to be resurrected as he was. We can only know our Messiah through the scriptures (Jn 5:39) and now all the scriptures point to Christ Ahnsahnghong as second coming Christ. This is why the Bible says that his people will be destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). We must live the way that Christ taught us how to live 2000 years ago and keep the Sabbath Day, The Passover New Covenant, The Feast of God, get rid of all Idols and so much more if we want to share in his resurrection. I pray that many people’s eyes will be open and study the scriptures so that they too may share in the resurrection.

      • Diane

You said, “get rid of all Idols”
Would you consider “Mother” as an idol or not? Just asking.

        • Gracy

God the Mother is not an idol. as to idol, it has images and it is to be man-made. God the Mother is the savior who is to come in the last day according to bible prophecy through the second coming christ ahnsahnghong.

It’s truly amazing to see that through understanding scripture God can clear any confusion to give His children a better understanding. We can truly see that without Christ Ahnsahnghong coming how would we have fully understood His word. Everything that is written in the bible is to lead us to Christ. John 5:39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me. We must realize that all scriptures points to Christ and He will fulfill them. We should not be easily shaken by one verse but rather understanding it fully by going to Him.

    • Emily

It shows in the Bible that Jesus’ resurrection was hope that we may also resurrect and never die again. How beautiful is it that we have hope to resurrect and never die just as Jesus did.:) If Father said that we could die again, what hope would this be? We have the hope that we will never die again. Just as Christ resurrected and lives eternally we can see that we will do the same .Thanks to God’s grace, mercy and sacrifice, we are able to have the hope to resurrect and live forever solely because Christ did first.

      • Amanda

That is so encouraging. Our hope is in heaven because Christ Ahnsahnghong gave us the hope and proof through the scriptures that we will resurrect or even transfigure and surely enter the kingdom of Heaven!

    • Rita Civil

God’s word and God’s love is so amazing!!! It is truly wonderful how God never leaves His children in the dark. God provided the Bible and everything in it for as a tool for our salvation. Through the Scriptures, we come to know God has provided everything we need in order to recognize our True God and understand how it is we can be saved. So many people think they know the Bible but they do not realize they do not have the true interpretation. The Bible tells us only God Almighty can interpret the Bible. We can read the Scriptures all day but without God’s true interpretation, we will be lost! If we truly understood the Bible and the prophecies contained within it, we would never come to reject our Savior. John 5:39 clearly states “You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.”

The prophecies in the Bible tells us all about the second coming of our Savior and how we can recognize Him. The Bible tells us He will come in the flesh a second time to bring us salvation (Heb 9:28). It also tells that second coming Christ must carry out His ministry for the remaining 37 years, according to the prophecy of King David. Second coming Christ is also prophesied to re-establish the Passover of the New Covenant and the feasts of God. These are all things, and many more, that were fulfilled by none other than Christ Ahnsahnghong!!! How can a mere man do the things God Almighty said He would do Himself? Impossible!!!

Let us not allow our human traditions and the opinions of others get in the way of our salvation (Isa 29:13, Matt 15:8-9). Please, if you have any questions, come to the World Mission Society Church of God and learn more about the prophecies pertaining to our Savior in this age.

    • Vicky

Amen. Christ Ahnsahnghong is the savior of this age.
He fulfilled all the prophecies of the Bible.
      We should believe in Him!

    • The name, race and appearance doesn’t matter what we have to focus on is if the prophesis from the bible are fullfill and more important for us to acknowledge he is Christ by following his example, accepting his words of salvation and putting them into practice.

  2. Sonja

It’s important to look at the Bible. Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled all prophecies. According to the prophecy of King David, the Second Coming Christ is to pass away after 37 years of His ministry. Christ Ahnsahnghong came to this earth according to the prophecy of the Bible and ascended to heaven according to the prophecy of the Bible.

    • Diane

      Hello Soja,
Can you show me which prophecy says that the reign must last for 40 years? My bible says that the descendant of David will rule forever not just 40 years.

  3. Makia

Unfortunately, lack of understanding, no belief and tradition takes precedence over the truth. Many Christians still do not understand anything about Jesus. They love to quote verses from the bible yet they haven’t been able to decode it. Jesus always taught he would come again because there was unfinished prophecies to handle. Many have negative comments because they don’t feel comfortable breaking their concepts, hay its definitely not easy nor does anyone look forward to that, however when it’s done your eyes can read the prophecies. PROPHECY IS THE ONLY WAY TO IDENTIFY CHRIST. It’s no way around it! It doesn’t matter what any pastor, priest, mom, dad, grandparent or psychic says. The bible holds the prophecies and to know Christ is to know them!!!! Christ Ahnsahnghong is God, the prophecies let you know this clearly….

  4. Claudia

Christ Ahnsahnghong did everything according to the scriptures in his first and second coming , we need to understand which prophecy He fulfilled in each age, in the bible are many prophecies to be fulfilled by Christ each one in his own time, Apostle Paul said that Christ can’t die anymore because in Hebrews it says that a person is destine to die once …. So Christ can not die twice 2000 years ago!!, but now in his second coming he fulfilled the prophecy of King David. Come and study this prophecy for you to know why our Father Ahnsahnghong died in 1985.

  5. Matthew

2000 years ago the religious leaders also said that the messiah could not die, and they too quoted scripture,

John 12:34-37 The crowd spoke up, “We have heard from the Law that the Messiah will remain forever, so how can you say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? … Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him.

2000 years ago, the people who denied Jesus also used scripture to deny Him (even though they did so incorrectly). Then just because people throw a verse out there, we should first examine the contents of the verse being used. Romans 6 is about baptism, not about 2nd Coming Christ.

People who use Romans 6 to deny Christ Ahnsahnghong are just like the Pharisees 2000 years ago who used scripture incorrectly to deny that Jesus is the Christ.

  6. Russell

The world is a scary place. When we have questions about something that’s meaningful to us, we should not base our decisions solely on others opinions. Lets say your about to view a new movie that you’re excited about. Right when your about to enter the theater you hear someone say that the movie that your about to see is lame. Should that stop you from viewing the movie? Not at all. When you finished the movie you than realize when that guy said didn’t make sense an actually the movie he talked bad about was the best movie that you have seen in years. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but that doesn’t make everyone correct either. Lets see from Gods point of view, come to the Church of God yourself and see the truth. Do not let the opinion of someone else stop you from seeing and understanding a beautiful and amazing things through the Bible. Please if you have doubts if you have questions come to the Church of God where the Bible says our thirst for the truth may be quenched. Rev 22:17

  7. Matthew

Christ Ahnsahnghong is the puzzle piece of the bible that was hidden..if you have a puzzle and one piece is missing how does it look? It looks unfulfilled an empty. In the church of God all truth about bible prophecy and Father Ahnsahnghong is there. so instead of judging a book by its cover just open it yourself an check out the world mission society church of God.

  8. Obi

It is very important to understand the full context of the bible verses. Many times people take one verse to support their own thoughts, which neglect the point of the verse itself. After reading this article you clearly see how Roman chapter 6 was misinterpreted to speak against Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong.

  9. Tyler

This explanation is extremely helpful. There are so many verses in both Old and New Testament about Christ Ahnsahnghong, so how could one misunderstanding of a verse throw everything off course? Of course, every verse is of utmost importance, but they cannot be taken out of context as many people do with Romans 6:9. After studying of all the prophecies fulfilled by Christ Anhsahnhong, it’s clear that we must be very careful not throw everything away after one misunderstanding of a verse.

  10. Ignacio

Those people that speak against Chris Anhsanhghong and say that he can not be the second coming of Christ because he died. This shows their lack of understanding of the bible. Rom 6:9 is not speaking about that second coming Christ will not die. This is explaining that we become one body with Christ after baptism, therefore we will also take part in the resurrection. If we don’t understand God through the prophecies of the bible, but with our own common sense we make a big mistake . Common sense tells us Jesus didn’t have to die he is God. Than why did he died?
1 Corinthians 15: 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance ; that Christ died for ours sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried , that was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Christ Anhsanhghong died in 1985 according to the Scriptures, he preached the new covenant Passover according to the Scriptures for this reason Ahnsahnghong is the second Coming Christ prophesied in the bible .

  11. jose rojas

God who asked of his people to press on to know Him .we have a duty to study the scriptures and understand the prophecies. as Paul said Do not treat prophecies with contempt 1the 5:20, now if we have knowledge we will understand that Christ Ahnsahnghong passed away in order to save us, He came as the High.Priest just like Jesus did 2000 years ago..The bible clearly shows unless the high priest dies no one can can go to heaven …Father Ahnsahnghong fulfilled this prophecy among many others. its very important to know the scriptures very well, if we do it we will realize these people that quote verses like that are like the pharisees and teachers of.the law 2000 years ago.

  12. John M.

Whenever you hear something from a third party you are almost always bound to be misinformed. The blog explains everything that people are saying against the World Mission Society that are from a misinformed basis. When you read Romans 6, it is clear that Apostle Paul is not speaking about second coming Christ. Those who say such things are speaking without understanding, which is exactly what Apostle Peter warned not to do.

2 Peter 3:15-16 “… Paul .. his letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.”

  13. alexlee

Without seeing prophecy and its fulfillment, how can anyone understand who is God in the flesh? This includes Jesus…

It is because Christ Ahnsahnghong passed away that I believe He is the Christ. The prophecies of the Bible are so clear. I really hope people take the Word of God to heart and understand their Savior.

  14. Dan

The word “Christ” means God in the flesh. Although Gods spirit dwells in flesh, if his flesh dies, his spirit still lives eternally. That is why the records of the crucifixion say that “Jesus gave up his spirit,” (Mat 27:50) meaning he did not die. His spirit just left the body. Jesus himself said “The flesh counts for nothing.” (Jn 6:63). When people say “second coming Christ” it means the second time God Comes in the flesh. So when God comes in the flesh a second time, can’t his body die yet his spirit still live eternally just like it did 2000 years ago on the cross? If you have a correct understanding of the body and spirit, you will understand to correct meaning of Romans 6:9. All this is explained clearly and concisely when you come to the WMSCOG

  15. Safia

The one verse that comes to mind is Matt. 22:29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.” Its easy to look at one verse and make assumptions based on it, but without looking at the whole picture it is easy to be in error. Jesus said you are in error because you do not know the scriptures not scripture, meaning we have to know the whole scripture not just one verse to understand about God.
