My Husband’s Change and the WMSCOG

My Husband's Change and the WMSCOG

My Husband’s Change and the WMSCOG

This video is from Crystal who lives in New Jersey. According to her own words:

When I first heard the teachings of the Church of God, I was very surprised, and I wanted my husband to attend also. He didn’t believe in God, and because he was going through some hard times he was drinking too much. I wanted him to attend the WMSCOG and change his drinking habits. He finally came to the Church when our 4 year old daughter asked him to come. When he first started to study the Bible at the WMSCOG, he was surprised just like me. Before we used to argue a lot, but after becoming members of the Church of God all of this has changed. I am very happy this joy has come into my family.

As we can see through Crystal’s testimony, the teachings of the WMSCOG have brought her family together. Please come study the Bible at the Church of God and you can get a better understanding of what Crystal and her husband experienced.

I can totally relate to this video. I am also a member of the Church of God, and I have known my husband since Junior High School, he use to do many things that were not good. He was also Muslim at that time, however he was not finding fulfillment in his religious beliefs, so he did many other things to find his happiness.

However, when I invited him to the Church of God, he came and studied the bible, and he was so happy and amazed at what he learned that, the next week at 2am in the morning, he called me and asked to be baptized. Now, 11 1/2 years later in the church, we have been married for 8 years, our marriage is GREAT!,and he has changed so much as is so happy and positive and doesn’t do any bad things like he use to. Even his old friends complement him when they see him. And he even now is going back to school and has a great job. We always give thanks to God, Father Christ AhnSahngHong and Heavenly Mother for everything. They truly let us have such beautiful harmony in our marriage.

I am so enlightened to hear this because it shows God is really the Wonderful Counselor and is the best mediator in all situations; even in marriage as crystal was saying. The Church of God WMS teachings ultimately bring people together 🙂

We have similar experiences, I have been married for 8 years.
Marriage is not easy. you know you are looking at two people who have fought, compromised, and stayed committed to one another. There’s a lot to be learned but our marriage has been so blessed by God ever since I started to attend the Church of God,
The teachings in the Church of God are perfect, it has even led us to have a perfect marriage, to respect, love, care for one another and be filled with the patience of God.
Am so glad I attend the Church of God, my life has seriously changed for the positive.

Many of the WMSCOG members have a similar story regarding the first time they visited the Church. When we first came, we were surprised and doubtful, however, after understanding the truth we have remained as members. For this reason we keep attending the Church although we receive difficulties from other people. Animo !!

There are many religious which help in solving family problems but i believe that should not be the criteria of a true church. That should not be the assurance to salvation! Becuse i have seen and heard so many families been broken up due to ths group! Please do nt get angry with me. Im just stating the fact. And it is nt slandr too!

      Haddassah,

Yes many other religions can help solve family problems, and also people who are not religious can help solve family problems. You are right also to say that this is not the criteria to determine the true Church, however this is a byproduct of keeping Gods commandments and doing the will of God. The assurance of Salvation is obeying the words of God, and it starts from doing something simple, like keeping the Sabbath Day and the Passover.

Now to explain regarding the false allegations that the Church breaks families. The testimony of the Church members shows that this is not true, the Church does not break the family. There is no doctrine in the church that teaches members to ruin their family, and if the Church was responsible for breaking families we should see the same happen with every single church member, but since this is not the case, we should not blame the Church for breaking families.

The problems that arise with the members of the Church of God is due to the intolerance that they receive for their new found faith. You see, what usually happens is that the family members who are not part of the Church have an intolerance fueled by the words of the “cult experts”, and websites that spread false rumors and disinformation about the Church. This intolerance is what causes the problems in the family, so in reality is not the Church, but the “cult experts” and “religious intolerant” that cause problems in the family.

I have been a member of the church for 4 years. Both of my parents attend the church as well as my younger brother. We have become a close family because of the Church of God. You may have “heard” of families being broken up but I have personally experienced us being closer and having a stronger relationship.

        Thank you

    • Peter

When I became a member of the Church of God, I was told from my sister that my family would be destroyed if I continued to attend this church. But I have never seen this problem while attending the Church of God for more than 10 years.

On the contrary, I have seen some so-called cult experts who promote and suggest divorce (and even violence) to the husbands (non-believers) of women who attend the Church of God. Actually, some “self-proclaimed” cult experts have been convicted for spreading false information and for engaging in schemes to send forcibly the wmscog members to mental hospitals. Cult experts and slanderers are promoting religious hatred towards the Church of God with false information. Who are trying to break families? People must know the fact.

The following news article reveals that your argument is not true:
