Christ Ahnsahnghong's Family - children

I can’t believe Christ Ahnsahnghong and Mother are God because They had Their own children.

As I was surfing the web, I came across an article that said people left the World Mission Society Church of God because of the fact that Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother had Their separate families including children. It also went on to say that members are not told about this at all.

In my opinion: Why does that matter?

Now regarding this topic I can only give my personal opinion and experience. I found out about Christ Ahnsahnghong and Mother having a family with children within my first year in Church, and to be honest with you, it didn’t bother me at all.

I mean, why should it? Can you show me one verse in the Bible that says that having a family with children is a sin? Wasn’t it God who created the family system and said it was good?

Genesis 1:27-31 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number…God saw all that he had made, and it was very good…

Do not mix physical with spiritual

Some skeptics might say: “Aren’t we all children of God? So how can God have children with one of His daughters?”

If you are the person who thinks this way, let me ask you a question:

If we are all children of God, how can YOU have children with your brother/sister?

We have to learn how to distinguish the spiritual from the physical. If we cannot do this, then we must accuse the Apostles of the Early Church of committing incest, for they had their wives who were also their sisters.

1 Corinthians 9:5 – Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?

Christ has to be made in every way like us.

One of the verses of the Bible, which is very meaningful to me, about this topic is in the book of Hebrews:

Hebrews 2:14-18 – Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death – that is, the devil – and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death… For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God… Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

As we can read in the passage above, when Christ comes to this world, He has to be in EVERY WAY like us. By understanding what we go through, He can help us in our times of need.

Now does the fact that Christ Ahnsahnghong and Mother had families with children deny everything else They taught according the Bible? Does that make Passover not true? Or does it make Sabbath Day not true? Not at all!

So please stop judging by mere appearances, and make the right judgment.

    The things that people make up nowadays do not make sense. They only focus on whatever they want to focus on, only to find fault. If Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother did not have children of their own, how would prophecies in the bible be fulfilled?

    Also, how would we pray to Elohim God about our sufferings if they did not go thru it first? How would we be encouraged to overcome our trials? Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother made the family system.

    People only focus on the physical life because that is all that is interesting to them. True Children of Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother will be interested in the truth that leads them to the Kingdom of heaven.

    The Bible does say that Christ came in every way like us, that is undeniable. I never really thought it with respect of the fact that we have wives, husbands and children, that too, should be something God has to be able to do, if not how can God come just like one of us and be the wonderful counselor? by coming in the flesh and being able to go through the same exact things any of us could go, then we can see them as true wonderful counselors! actually when I first heard about Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother having their own physical families I was shocked and moved almost to tears, how much our God has done to show us their love to even come and live lives just like us to fulfill what was written in the Bible and to truly be able to be our wonderful counselors.

    Heavenly Father and Mother , came to this earth to share in our human likeness, they fulfill prophecy and show us the true teachings of Christ. Why should it matter if they had families or if they didn’t the fact that they did have families just proves even more clearly that they came to share in our human lives. Regardless of their physical life Heavenly Father and Mother are true God Almighty and they prove it to us wretched sinners each and everyday though revealing the complete truth should have been more than enough proof . All thanks to Father Ahnsahnghong and Mother New Jerusalem for their sacrifice.

    When, I was like 3 months in Zion, I remember we always sat on a couch with Pastor, and he will talk to us a lot of spiritual things, He told a group of us that Father Ahnsahnghong, and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem had been married outside the truth and also that they had children, at the time I was surprised, but when I heard about father and Mothers life, the persecution Mother receives, all the pain Father and Mother when through, I felt More their love after realizing that they did not have it easy, it was so hard for them, but they were made like us in every way, I can have hope for Heaven because God is so much love that they humble themselves living a life in this earth, they when through all the pains of life to comfort their children and give them a complete love that only those who suffered the same difficulties can give! And that is the reason I believe in them even more, The Most High God humble themselves to understand us, If they did not live like this how could we fathom their love!

    When I first heard about Father and Mother’s physical families, I felt more sorry to them. If you have a pure mind, understanding both the elementary and deep truths about Christ, then you would see the sacrifice of God in this detail. But to the impure, nothing is pure. I also do not concern about Jesus’ life before he was baptized.

    Hi, i agree that Gods can marry and have children, but the question is both Angh and Zhang were not married to each other.They’ve been married to different people and have their own kids with them. Both Angh and Zhang divorce their respective spouses and married each other. Is that OK according to the teachings of the bible to not leave their spouse until death so them apart (Their respective spouses were still alive when they got married). How do you explain that?

    Is it OK for Gods to commit adultery?.

      This is one of the reasons I decided to make my website, because you have been clearly misinformed. Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother were never married to each other, and neither one of them divorced and re-married. This is the type of rumors that people start when they are out to hide the true facts about Christ… just like 2,000 years ago.

      Matthew 28:11-15 — While the women were on their way, some guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, “Your are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.

      Imagine if people believed what the Pharisees said, would anyone have faith in Christ today?? Please do not do the same.

    Christ Ahnsahnghong Came as Second coming Christ to bring us salvation. how then we World Mission Society Church of God firmly believe that he is God?. God Gave us the Bible so we can recognize the works of Christ. That we can believe and receive him. Receive him in our heart in our soul. One of the Prophecies to be fulfilled by 2nd Coming Christ is to bring Salvation. Just by that one Fact that he brought the Holy Passover for OUR Benefit to receive Forgiveness of Sins. He is Our Savior. He fulfilled all prophecies regarding 2nd Coming Christ. He is our Great Advocate and Counsel then, He was made in every way like us so when we pray earnestly we can talk with our True God who understands us. How Merciful Our God is. even Going trough the difficulties of Dealing with all the Circumstances that this world gives so that we could ask for counseling and pray that he can help us overcome.

    Ahn has every right to marry and have kids just like everybody else, regardless of whether he is god or not. So also Zahng. However, does the bible say it is OK to commit adultery? NO. So if they left their original families to marry, it is adultery.
    Now you respond to Steph by saying that they were never married to each other. Yet the WMSCOG does claim that they were married and all the blue and red candle stuff and the ceremony and whatever. Without that claim, you cannot make a claim for the bride either.
    I have a friend who is a member of the WMSCOG. She too was completely unaware that Ahn and Zahng were previously married. She still denies it because that is what her pastor has told her.

      Christ Ahnsahnghong never left His wife, and it was Heavenly Mothers husband who left Her. Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother were never married to each other, that doesn’t make sense whatsoever. In 1955 when Christ Ahnsahnghong wrote the book “Unsealing the Seven Thunders”, Heavenly Mother was only 12 years old, Christ Ahnsahnghong was 37, how does it make sense that they could be married to each other? In Korean society that would have been impossible.

      The red and blue candle ceremony was the Passover of 1984, Just in case you didn’t know, we do not light candles in our services, but Christ Ahnsahnghong allowed the red and blue candles to be lit in this Passover. The Passover of 1984 also happened to be held in a wedding hall, this was to signify that this Passover was also a HEAVENLY wedding banquet. In addition to all of this, Christ Ahnsahnghong allowed Heavenly Mother to pray in the altar during the Passover, this was the first time ever a woman prayed from the altar in the Church of God. Through all of this, Christ Ahnsahnghong was revealing who the Bride of the Holy Spirit is… Again, please get your facts right before you go ahead and speak of things that you do not understand, this causes disinformation to be spread and people to be misguided due to false rumors.

        Did anyone claim they were married when she was 12? Secondly, I doubt that they would have been able to officially marry each other until he divorced his wife.

        So the conclusion we come to here is that
        1. They WERE NOT married or it would have been bigamy by civil law and adultery by religious law.
        2. They WERE married so you can claim Spirit and Bride.

        Have I understood the situation correctly?

          But you claimed: “…So if they left their original families to marry, it is adultery…” All I did was clarify your inaccuracy. An of course, they could not have married when she was 12, but Christ Ahnsahnghong was still 27 years older than Mother, so the physical marriage claim would have been more than impossible with the age difference during that time.

          1. So yes they were not married to each other, therefore there is no bigamy nor adultery.
          2. Their marriage was not a physical one. the celebration of the 1984 Passover was significant of a wedding banquet, for it was held in a wedding hall and red and blue candles were lit (traditional practice in Korean weddings). Through this Christ Ahnsahnghong was letting us know that the Passover ceremony signified a wedding banquet, especially when for the first time ever in the history of the Church of God a woman came up to the altar to pray, and that was how Father showed us who our spiritual Mother is.

          So to answer your question… NO, you did not understand correctly.

    Now we are living in the age where the society could accept the fact that they want freedom and refused to get married, however Christ Ahnsahnghong and Mother, lived in age where the society regard only those who are ‘ill’ stay unmarried. We have to put ourselves in their era. Morever, the community was so small and everyone know each other very well.
    They cannot preach when people regard them as ‘ill’.
    They have sacrificed their entire life for us, going through the exact same thing as we do, having to raised up children while preaching, working in order to preach, yet many people use this to attack Them and deny that They are God.
    Let us repent. Do not be like the Pharisees who judged Jesus by his physical appearance.
    Please remember how much Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother has sacrificed, going through all sorts of hardships just to let us know the right way to heaven.

    I must admit, I’m so moved,at the great consideration and understanding of our God. Who are we to question truth? Before the truth, I never questioned Sunday service, and all the pagan teachings,which were taught with no foundation. How can I question truth, when more then enough is given to me? The fact that Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, has given us truth with much detail, is the greatest
    consideration.Honestly when I first became aware of our Father and Mother’s physical life, I didn’t expect an explanation. Why should I? The fact that they gave us pure truth through the bible was enough. When I read this article, I’m moved, because of God’s love is so great that even when the children question them, about their existence they take the time to answer. The problem, is clearly,not the truth, the real problem is our limited brain.
