WMSCOG a Religious Group in Korea
Where was the WMSCOG founded?
When browsing the web, I came across an article that questioned the beliefs of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) due to the fact that it started in South Korea. It’s ironic, but when you look into the Bible, the same thing was done to Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago:
John 1:45-46 “Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’ ‘Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?’ Nathanael asked…”
As we see in the passage, even 2,000 years ago the people of Israel had a fixed concept about Nazareth and that made Nathanael judge and doubt the credibility of Jesus just because He was from there.
That is the same bias the article was trying to push on the reader regarding the WMSCOG and its founder. They even quote a Korean professor saying, “There are many gods and Jesus[es] in Korea.” This is true; there are many people in Korea who claim to be Second Coming Christ. Doesn’t that make you wonder why? I mean, South Korea is not even a historically Christian country – then why is this phenomena happening?
Imitations cannot exist without an authentic one
Well, let me answer that with an analogy: in today’s society, brand name items are very popular. You have brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, and so on. These brands are so popular and so expensive that many imitations appear in the market. Now let me ask you a question: without a real Chanel bag, can there be imitations? Or if I say I have an imitation of a Louis Vuitton wallet, is that possible without a real Louis Vuitton wallet existing? No, that would be impossible.
Now why do so many people who claim to be Second Coming Christ appear in South Korea? The answer is simple: because the real Second Coming Christ must come from there. Let’s see:
Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
According to the Bible, Second Coming Christ must appear in the last days and bring salvation. Salvation literally means to save someone from harm. Then where does the salvation work start from in the last days?
Revelation 7:1-3 “After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: ‘Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’”
Before the great disaster comes on the last day according to the Bible prophecy, the work of salvation must start from the east. The original language of the Bible’s New Testament, which is Greek, communicates the same directional point: “…from the rising of the sun…”
Now the question is, who is the savior from the east? And where is the east according to the Bible? That’s a topic for another discussion…

Father Christ Ahnsahnghong came to South Korea because he needed to come in secret. The fact that he came to South Korea proves the reason for all the false Christs. The prince of this world will do anything to hinder the gospel, even make false Christs in Korea. Imagine he did not come in secret or to South Korea, he would not fulfill bible prophecy. Everything in the bible points out to the far-off land in the east. But if people choose to judge God with their own thoughts, they will fall into error and deny his coming to South Korea in secret. If we press to know God’s thoughts we will be able to understand why God chose South Korea.

Everyone knows that second coming Christ is going to appear. Everyone wants to wait for Him so that when He arrives they can receive salvation. But how do we know how to receive salvation and where can we receive it? Is it not through the Bible? The Bible teaches us that second coming Christ will appear from the east and bring the Seal of God, which is the Passover (Rev 7:1, John 6:27, 53, Mat 26:17). So whoever brings the Passover and came from the East is second coming Christ. The reason we know about the Passover is because of Christ Ahnsahnghong. He came from the east and established the new covenant Passover, thus He is second coming Christ! We have true God Almighty not an imitation, but in order for you to see it for yourself you must come and study the Bible.

Its sad to think that for people it would be hard to accept true God only because of the country he chose to be born in. God can do anything and of course if he was to be born in South Korea there would be things to dissuade the people from believing. Satan does not want anyone to be saved so he will create any obstacle to lead away the people from true God. However, God came a second time to find his children and he taught us and left a way for us to recognize him. God calls us his children. How great is God’s love that he came a second time? How much do people love their children? How much more God! think seriously about this and study before you make your own conclusions.

WMSCOG is the true church of God. Contrary to the knock offs that exist, Christ Ahnsahnghong is the only one who fulfilled bible prophecy and testified to everything the Jesus taught 2000 years ago (Jn 14:26). Even at that time, when the disciples asked Jesus about his second coming he warned them about those who would come to deceive performing miracles and claiming to be the Christ. Matt 24:23-27. But is that how Christ will reveal himself? Phil 2:5-7. No. He will be like men in every way. Then how can we know true second coming Christ? Heb 9:28. He will bring salvation, but salvation is the knowledge of the forgiveness of sins. (Luke 1:77) Then how did Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfill this? Matt 26:17-28. The same way 1st coming Christ did. So then how can we look at WMSCOG, established by true second coming Christ from a physical standpoint? It is the only church that keeps in step with prophecy, and has the words of life! Come study and see for yourself.

Saying that the WMSCOG is just another religious group in South Korea BECAUSE there are so many other groups that believe in a 2nd coming Christ is to deny all of the rest of the teaching of the Bible. Even though all the prophecies in the Bible clearly point to Christ’s 2nd coming being fulfilled in South Korea the WMSCOG doesn’t teach only that!
God wrote the Bible as a guide to lead us to the kingdom of Heaven. However it’s a guidebook with many prophecies, examples and teachings. God gave us more than just one prophecy. The founder of the WMSCOG is the true second coming Christ not just because He came to South Korea. But because He taught us all of God’s teaching, fulfilled EVERY prophecy, and did it all exactly when the Bible said it should all happen.
Those who draw conclusions like this about the WMSCOG and affect others with it are trying to distract those who are trying to learn all the teachings of the Bible. Please don’t be distracted from the correct way to follow God because other groups have their version of a “second coming Christ”.

How can anyone argue about the place God Almighty has chosen to come and begin His ministry of saving the whole world. Of course if we cannot find this fact in the bible we should not believe it, however so many prophets of the Old Testament as well as the New Testament prophesied about the Savior coming from the far of land in the east (Isa 46:10, Rev 7:1) The point we have to focus on is on the salvation that only God can bring. That’s why our Father Christ AhnSahngHong is God almighty because he brought us salvation through the Passover that only God can bring (Heb 9:28). And it is prophesied in (Rev 7:1) that He will start His sealing work (Seal of the Passover) through which we are also protected from last disaster (Ex 12:10-13) in the east from the rising of the sun. Therefore we can be sure that Second Coming Christ AhnSahngHong must come from the South Korea since nowhere else in the world was the Passover proclaimed to the whole world except South Korea!

History seems to repeat itself quite often in the Scriptures in reference to what has been happening these days. The above article states it ever-so clearly comparing Korea for Second Coming Christ with Nazareth and Christ’s first appearance as savior.
But consider this: Viewing Korea in the early times, from being a Hermit Kingdom, letting no foreigners in it’s land, to the Korean war as a war stricken place full of poverty, coming up suddenly being one of the top economies in the world; brand names that are well known world wide such as LG, Samsung, Kia/Hyundai; and who’s food (Kimchi) has been recognized around the world as a super-food, there can only be one easy conclusion… It must be the work of God to prepare the world to know Second Coming Christ and visit the land in which He appeared.
There are indeed many claiming to be Christ in that land, which means there must be something special about South Korea that the true Christ had to come a second time from there

Ecc 1:9 what has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
History repeats itself. 2000 years ago Jesus was rejected as the Christ in part because he came from a place which was looked down on; even Nathaniel could not believe anything good would come from there. Philip on the other hand accepted Jesus as the Christ because he was fulfilling what was written by Moses and the prophets of the Old Testament. Today we must also rely on the only source that leads us to God in order to understand his appearance in the last days. It is just so happens that every prophesy regarding the appearance of Christ in the last days state he will come from the east (KJV -from the rising of the sun). We should not make the mistake that was made 2000 years ago, we should seek to understand Christ in the same way Philip and the other disciples did by relying on the scriptures. We have to put our thoughts aside and rely on the scriptures in order to understand where salvation will be given. The last work of salvation began in the east, and the Church of God which started in South Korea proclaims salvation then it has to be the true church. It also happens to be the church founded by the Angel that appeared from the east, for this reason we know that it’s far from just another church. It is the last church prophesied in the bible where God almighty dwells, where all of God’s feasts are kept and the word of the Lord comes from Jerusalem.
It’s not a coincidence that the Church of God which was established in 1964 in a country surrounded by poverty has now spread to over 150 countries with over 2,200 churches all over the world. Falsehood does not spread past a couple of people but the truth is captivating and inspiring. It is capable of changing the world, just so happens to be what the World Mission Society Church of God has and continues to do so.
Please take the time to see for yourself what is true as oppose to allowing the simple minded thoughts of others to guide your faith in seeking God.

It is funny how people nowadays want to question every single thing Second Coming Christ did.
Religions nowadays have so much faith in Jesus Christ , but when they are asked why Christ had to be born in Bethlehem? They don’t have an answer. Meaning that they don’t even know their savior.
WMSCOG is the true church, not because it has many members, but because we have the truth and know the one who is prophesied to come in these last days.It does not matter where Second coming Christ comes from. Whether it’s from Israel or South Korea. Actually God Almighty can come to any location. But it was prophesied that he will bring salvation from the East. Then we should look for that country. Second Coming Christ, Christ AhnSahngHong is that angel who brought us the Passover from the country in the East.

People always judge because of location. But when it Comes to our savior we need to be careful before we make the mistake of rejecting Christ just like 2000 years ago. Christ is a diamond in the rough. Though his surroundings were not the best, in him was the glory of the creator. Prophecy needs to be fulfilled. That’s how we can discern between falsehood and truth. The Scriptures lead us to our savior. Like a map, let’s follow the Bible and not stray of the path. I hope people are not led astray by ignorant generalizations and come to appreciate the truth about God’s teachings.

The bible testifies that the truth of the gospel must be preached beginning in the east and will spread all the way to the west (Matthew Ch. 24, 27) and that this gospel will be preached throughout the entire world before the last day (Isaiah Ch. 52, 7- 10 and Matthew Ch. 24, 14). When you look at the different churches that originated in the far east, none has spread all over the world like the Church of God. The Church of God was established and spread the gospel exactly as the bible said that it would. However just like 2000 years ago, people base their judgments of the second coming Christ based on their own preconceptions rather the words of the bible. Jesus came from Nazareth, which at that time was viewed as a low class area of Judea, he had no scholastic background, he was a carpenter, and his followers included prostitutes and tax collectors which were viewed as very shameful within Jewish society (Matthew Ch. 9, 9-13 and John Ch. 7, 15). Today people say second coming Christ cannot come from South Korea based on their preconceived biases (since Korea has not historically been a Christian country), rather than looking at the prophecies of the bible.

The Bible teaches where our savior should come from. we cannot choose where he should come from just so that it can be more convenient for us to believe if he was born in our country of choosing. God has a plan and if he chooses to come from the east how can we argue with Gods plan for “our” salvation. if many false jesus’s are coming from South Korea we should pay attention why South Korea and how we can distinguish who should be the true 2nd coming through the bible. the Bible is key to understanding who is our savior

Its exactly what God said in Ecclesiastes 1:9-10, ‘What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again. There is nothing new under the sun. Those that questioned about Second Coming Christ coming from Korea are doing the same thing as those 2000 years ago (John 1:45). Not only because of their own thoughts but mainly because God already prophesied that this would happen. “Nothing is new is under the sun.” Our God Elohim is perfect : )!

I am very grateful to be part of the true church that the bible testifies about. If Father prophesied that he would come from Mexico, Germany, U.S, I would believe it if Father had said that but since Fathers said prophesy points to South Korea in such great detail that’s why I believe in Father. Because all the prophesies written are taking place here in WMSCOG all in accordance to the bible .

Skeptics will be skeptics no matter what; however a scholar and an inquisitor will seek the facts and figures before making judgments about anything. To Christians, the only manual we have to make judgments and find facts about our Savior is the Bible. Therefore, through it, somehow we should recognize not only the Savior Himself who comes in the flesh, but also where he will come from.
No matter the opinions of others, if the Bible states that the Savior comes from the East then we have to understand it from the perspective of the writer who received the revelation. Looking more deeply, Apostle John was the only prophet who wrote of his whereabouts when he received a revelation about God coming in the flesh to save his people and through his vision we can understand that the East refers to South Korea. If you don’t know, you should come to study more.
Besides…through the purpose of the Savior, we can distinguish the original from the false. Though others may proclaim they are the Savior who comes from South Korea, God has a purpose he must fulfill: Isa 46:10- I declare the end from the beginning and from long ago what is not yet done. My plan will take place and I will do all My will.
God’s will however is to deliver his people from disasters coming upon the world John (6:53), Matt (26:17, 26) and that is given only through his blood sacrifice of Passover. If any man claims to be God in Korea and yet does not fulfill God’s purpose, he is a mere figment, falsehood and lie.
If others opinions are tarnished by the falsehood coming out of Korea, we who believe in the Bible should be unaffected. Christ Ahnsahnghong is God because He has done what only God can do. He has brought back the Passover of the New Covenant and he has brought it from the East where disaster will come out of in the last days. This is mercy.
