Christ Ahnsahnghong cannot be Christ because He died

Man is confused regarding questions about Christ Ahnsahnghong

According to Romans 6:9 Christ Ahnsahnghong is not Christ

One of the favorite verses in the Bible of those who speak against the World Mission Society Church of God and Christ Ahnsahnghong is Romans chapter 6 verse 9.

Romans 6:9 – For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

They quote this verse and say: “The Bible says that Jesus cannot die again after His death on the cross. But Christ Ahnsahnghong died so He cannot be Christ.”

I see It looks like they have a point … hmmmmm…. Not really!

According to Isaiah 43:11 Jesus is a false prophet

2,000 years ago when God came in the flesh for the first time, the only Scriptures that existed were the scriptures of the Old Testament – from Genesis to Malachi — and in those scriptures, you could find the following verse in the Book of Isaiah:

Isaiah 43:11 – I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no savior. – ASV—

Using this verse alone, many people could have easily rejected Jesus as the Savior, solely on the basis of that one verse. They could have easily said: “Since it is written in Isaiah 43:11 that there is no other Savior except God Jehovah, then Jesus of Nazareth is a false Messiah.”

But thankfully the Bible is not just one verse. If we analyze many other prophecies in other passages of the Old Testament, and their fulfillment in Jesus Christ, we can realize that Jesus is the Messiah and He doesn’t contradict Isaiah 43:11. The reason why proclaiming Jesus as the savior does not contradict Isaiah 43:11 is that the book of Isaiah was written before Jesus was born, and of course, at that time, the only Savior was Jehovah God, so it is quite natural that Isaiah 43:11 is written in that way.

It is the same way with Romans 6:9 and Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Romans 6:9 does not deny Christ Ahnsahnghong as the Savior

Then what is the correct meaning of Romans 6:9? This verse does not mean that Jesus cannot die again regardless of the situation. If we examine the contents from the beginning of the chapter, we can understand what the verse is talking about.

Romans 6:3-4 – Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

As we can see, the verse is making a comparison of the life that Jesus lived – His death and resurrection—and how we who participate in His life will receive the same benefits. Let’s continue:

Romans 6:5-9If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection… Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

What Apostle Paul is trying to explain in chapter 6 of the book of Romans is that since Jesus was resurrected, He will not die again. In other words, Jesus who was resurrected from the dead will live eternally. This was written to let us understand that Jesus showed His resurrection beforehand to demonstrate to us how we will be resurrected.

Everything Christ did was an example of what will happen to those who follow in His footsteps

Everything Jesus Christ did was an example for us who follow in His footsteps. (1 Peter 2:21)

• We receive baptism as Christians because Jesus was baptized. (Luke 3:21)

• We keep the Sabbath Day because Jesus kept it. (Luke 4:16)

• We keep the Passover of the New Covenant because Jesus kept it. (Luke 22:13-15)

• We preach the gospel because Jesus preached it. (Luke 4:43)

Therefore, if we follow faithfully in the example of Christ, we have the hope to be resurrected and will not die again.

When we examine all the verses in the Bible, which testify to our resurrection, consistently, we can see that all the verses place emphasis on the fact that we will not die again.

Luke 20:35-36 – “But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection.”

1 Corinthians 15:54 – When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

The Bible also testifies that the kingdom of heaven where we will go after we are resurrected is a place without death!

Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

This is something Apostle Paul understood and was trying to explain to the Romans in his letter. Christ did not just die, but He was resurrected and lives eternally in Heaven. For this reason, we can have faith that if we follow His example, we too will be resurrected and live eternally in heaven.

Romans 6:5 – If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

Therefore, isn’t it quite natural to say that Jesus, who resurrected, cannot die again and that death can no longer rule over Him?

So Romans 6:9 testifies to the state of resurrection and has nothing to do with either Jesus’ second coming in the flesh or His death.

What happens if Jesus, who stayed in an immortal spiritual body, came again in the flesh?

Since He came in the flesh, not in the resurrected spiritual body, He can die as much as He wants to and it would not violate Romans 6:9 at all.

Therefore, it is wrong to deny the Second Coming Jesus by distorting the meaning of the words in Romans 6:9.

Christ does everything according to prophecy

Some skeptics might say: “Well, Jesus resurrected after His crucifixion and that is why we believe that He is the Savior. However Christ Ahnsahnghong did not resurrect after His death. Therefore, He is not the Savior.”

For those who think like this, let me clarify one thing: The only reason the resurrection of Jesus took place was to fulfill  Bible prophecy:

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 – For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…

Jesus resurrected according to the Scriptures. With this in mind:

Can you show one verse in the Bible where it says that Second Coming Christ has to resurrect? There isn’t.

However, there are many prophecies that do show that Second Coming Christ has to pass away, which you can learn at your nearest World Mission Society Church of God.

This topic of discussion is amazing because it shows us that the Bible is not something that we ought to regard as literal. Like the article states, how can we judge the basis of Christ’s teachings on one verse. Every verse in the Bible is written wih the purpose to fulfill prophecy . Even in Luke 20:35-36 it states that we will not die once we are baptised into Christ, then does this mean that we will never physically die? That is absurd to think this way. People need to stop believing in the opinions of man and rather come to The Church of God and learn directly from the Bible about true God Almighty Christ AhnSahnHong and Heavenly Mother

By looking at the objective in using Ro 6:9 to show that Christ Ahnsahnghong is not God because He died… Is evidence that Jesus words 2,000 yrs ago are being fulfilled… Mt.22:29 — “you are in error because you do not know the scriptures nor the power of God” … Without having a concrete understanding of the Bible it is easy to chose a verse and interpret it in their own way to suit their evil desires… When you read the chapter in its entirety… One can understand A. Paul is preaching the hope for our resurrection through the example Christ showed us at that time… The chapter itself never distinctly shows any hint of 2nd Coming Christ and as if it was not enough through the prophecies of both King David. The establishment of Zion in the last days proves why Christ Ahnsahnghong had to ascend… Mic 4:1-2 “In the last days… The law will come from Zion” This refers to Zion being established in our time but after what takes place… :9 “Why do you cry aloud have you no king?” This is a prophecy showing that after 37 years of preaching the gospel Christ Ahnsahnghong will pass away… Then what will take place? :11-12; But now many nations are gathered against you(Zion/ WMSCOG) they say let her be defiled… But they do not know the thoughts of The Lord…” Clearly the bible shows what is taking place now, so to fulfill prophecy He had to die and the scriptures prove this and the action of those who speak against the Church… Please take into consideration the prophecies of God and don’t be mislead by blind guides… According to the bible in Act 5:38 it states if “it’s origins are from men, they will fail but if not they will only find themselves fighting against God… I hope to those that have questions may visit any of our local branches…

In order to understand the prophecies about Christ Ahnsahnghong, we have to understand correctly the prophecies about Jesus Christ. When studying the Bible, we have to remember that every verse has its mate (Isaiah 34:16). We cannot look at one verse in the Bible and understand completely, even though that verse on its own speaks the truth. Although the 66 books of the Bible are written by different prophets, they all have one author, God Almighty (2 Peter 1:20-21), and speak as one voice. If you come study, you can understand how to recognize second coming Christ. Since the scriptures testify about Christ (John 5:39), you simply have to ask, “Where does it say this about Christ Ahnsahnghong?” and we will show you. Please come study soon.

When I first began studying the Bible in the Church of God, a family member brought up this verse. At first, I was quite nervous and did not know what to think. However, everything else that I had studied thus far had been perfect and testified through the Bible; the Sabbath day, the covenant of the Passover, the Feasts of God, and many other Biblical truths. However, I was yet to have a question unanswered, so I asked the next day. I was amazed by the answer, given by simply reading that very same scripture from verse 1.
It seems that the reason why people doubt the teachings of the Church of God, especially in relation to Romans 6:9, is that they did not ask the questions at hand. I hope that people stop assuming there is no answer or simply that the Church teaches incorrectly. After all, the Bible does record that God’s people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)

  5. Jenny

According to the bible, there are no verses that claim that the second coming of Christ has to resurrect. In actuality, according to the Bible, the second coming Christ must die to fulfill several prophecies. Those who claim that Christ Ahnsahnghong cannot be Christ because he passed away are lacking knowledge of the Bible prophecies. I encourage those with questions about this topic to go to the nearest Church of God and study about the second coming of Christ before jumping to hasty conclusions.

  6. Carlo

Everything Christ did was done to fulfill Scriptures. The reason Christ AhnSahngHong is God is because it’s according to the Scriptures. The ones who speak against the WMSCOG make up these lame excuses and lie about knowing Christ are like those who built their house on sand. It has no foundation of the Word of God which is the testimony coming from the Scriptures.

  7. K.M.

I must say that this explanation is very clear.

I feel sorry for those who just take one verse out of the Bible and use that to defend their doctrine or bring the truth into disrepute. How could we accept their interpretations as truth, anyway? According to the Bible, the only one who can unseal the scriptures is the Root of David–Second Coming Christ (Rev 5:1-5). Therefore, I can only trust Biblical explanations coming from Second Coming Christ, or from those who learned from Him.

  8. Reina

The ones who insist Rom 6:9 is a prophecy about second coming Christ don’t know the bible at all.If you know the prophecies about second coming Christ you will understand he has to die.

  9. Reina

The ones who insist Rom 6:9 is a prophecy about second coming Christ don’t know the bible at all.If you know the prophecies about second coming Christ you will understand he has to die.
There are prophecies that second coming Christ has to go back to heaven after He finishes 37 years gospel work in this world.

I hope all people come to the church of God and study the bible before they believe false testimony through the Internet!

Christ Ahnsahnghong is true second coming Christ who came to this earth to lead us back into the right path of salvation. He brought the Sabbath, the Passover, the Feasts of God, and He revealed to us our Heavenly Mother. Without second coming Christ we would have no salvation. If we don’t study the prophecies, then we can’t understand God’s plan of salvation. We should not focus on what the people who don’t understand the bible say or think; instead we should focus on learning more about how we can be saved to enter the kingdom of heaven and being resurrected into a spiritual body.

    • It’s so true. The ONLY standard should be the Bible because it contains the words of God which leads to the kingdom of heaven. And since it’s written, “so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him (Hebrews 9:28),” those who reject the Second Coming Christ cannot get salvation. It’s because those who reject the Second Coming Christ deny the Bible.

Your statements are well contradicting your church teachings. You are trying to manipulate and give it a legal standing. You are trying to justify with a new doctrine. Firstly Jehovah and Jesus are one as in the Holy Trinity. Jesus has been Son of God throughout the bible, but has been always the Son of the Father. The funny part about Ahnsahngong is that sometimes he is the holy spirit, sometimes he is the father and sometimes he is the son. Throughout the Bible, The God the father has always remain Father, Jesus has always remained the Son and the Holy Spirit has always remained as Holy Spirit. The Beauty lies that the Holy Trinity are 3 persons distinctly separate but embodied in one God. This is the real meaning of Trinity. While in case of Ahnsahngong it is not Trinity but reincarnation like the Hindus or the Buddhist. He is sometimes the Father, sometimes the son and sometimes the Holy spirit. Woe to you false preachers.

    • The True WMSCOG

I know is difficult to understand Christ Ahnsahnghong, if you do not understand that Jesus is Jehovah who came in the flesh… meaning that Jesus and Jehovah are one and the same God…

Isaiah 44:6 “This is what Jehovah says — Israel’s King and Redeemer, Jehovah Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God.

Jehovah said He is the first and last, these are titles that only one person can have. That means that no one else in the whole Bible can claim to have the same titles, except Jehovah God…. lets see another verse.

Revelation 22:12-13 — “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Here in Revelation is Jesus speaking, and Jesus claims to be the first and the last. If Jesus was just the son of God, and not Jehovah himself, then the Bible is contradicting itself when we look at these two verses. However we know that the word of God is perfect, and there is no contradiction. This means that Jesus is Jehovah God who came in the flesh.

So we can say that Jesus is God the Father, as much as He is God the Son and there is not contradiction.

John 14:8-9 — Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, “Show us the Father”?

Same thing Jesus Christ who appeared 2,000 years ago promised to come again (Hebrews 9:28), with a new name (Revelation 3:11-12). This being said, Christ Ahnsahnghong is Jesus who came a second time with a New Name, that is why we can say He is God the Father, God the Son, and also He comes in the role of the Holy Spirit (John 16:12-14) who comes to reveal all things.

  12. Argedysp

If Christ Ahnsahnghong didn’t die then He wouldn’t be 2nd Coming Christ. This is scary because the way Satan works is that He uses the word of God against you to make you doubt and go against God, this example was shown with Christ (Matthew 4:6-7). Matthew 7:21 says that although you might have faith in Christ. which means that you could study the bible, however if yo don’t do His will, God will tell you away from me, meaning that Your not in Gods side. We can’t never listen to what anyone says, especially if they not keep the commandments of God. There are many unfulfilled prophesies that were left, when Jesus was in this world, however God is a mystery and won’t just be exposed out there but only revealed to you when you receive His blood Ephesians (1:7-9). The only way to receive His blood is through the Passover (Luke 22:7-20) which only the Church of God keeps, so all the mysteries can only be revealed here including 2nd coming Christ.

  13. Oscar

The life of Christ is fulfilled according to what was previously written, he allows us to know who He is by fulfilling prophecies. Those who use Rom 6:9 to say Christ Ahnsahnghong is not Christ are disregarding the purpose of the scriptures. Rom 6:9 is speaking of baptism and the resurrection that took place during Christ’s first coming; it does not speak of his second coming. If you believe that because of this verse Christ Ahnsahnghong is not God, then there is no way you can tell me Jesus is God because its testified that Jehovah is the only God.
Rom 6:9 is more confirmation of the life that we will live by following the example of Christ. Because he resurrected we have the hope to resurrect. Because he took off the physical body and put on the eternal body we know we will do the same. Once putting on the eternal body he cannot die again, if he comes in the flesh he can perish as many times as he chooses to put on flesh.
We cannot say God is omnipotent and then limit what he can or cannot do, please do not be misled by those who have no understand of Christ, those who are in error because they do not know the scriptures and are trying to lead you away from God.
Please do not try to understand our savior with just one verse, if that’s the case no one could believe in Jesus since it’s written that Jehovah is the only savior. If you are seeking to know the truth then seek it earnestly and visit us at the church with and open mind to know God.

  14. Nathaniel

It is scary that people try to deny Christ Ahnsahnghong using a verse in this way. Immediately when I heard this ridiculous insistence, I thought of how reckless to their OWN salvation these people are.

Hebrews 9:28 – so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

The purpose of Christ’s 2nd coming is to bring salvation! So no matter how, or where, or when it will happen… we MUST receive Him or we fail to receive salvation.

When you zoom out and look at the situation it is foolhardy to claim Christ Ahnsahnghong is not the 2nd coming Christ because of one verse in the Bible. The Bible contains approximately 1,000 pages of prophecy, parables and spiritual words. For thousands of years priests, pastors, and theologians have studied it and still admit that it is a great masterpiece filled with many mysteries.

Now consider what a person that takes a verse or two out of it and tries to eliminate someone as the true 2nd coming Christ is doing….

People do not have a firm grasp on all the meaning in the Bible in the first place because even those who devote their lives to it admit it’s full of mystery. Then how can someone reject something they need so badly using something they don’t understand completely?!?!
It’s like a homeless guy giving you advice on how to be successful… they have no clue how it even works.

Don’t be led astray by people who use verses this recklessly. It means these people are spiritual daredevils because they are OK with rejecting their own potential salvation using something they don’t fully understand. Base salvation on the whole Bible. When you study at the WMSCOG you will see how all 1,000 pages testify to the same truth. Then when you see the verses from all over the Bible come together into one meaning like a perfectly woven spider web comes together at one specific spot, you will understand as clear as day what the difference is between truth and falsehood. Moral of the story: don’t take advice from spiritually homeless people, come to the WMSCOG.

There are several prophecies within the bible that show that the second coming of Christ must die. According to scriptures, God must come in the flesh according to the prophecy of King David’s throne. King David was anointed at the ago of 30 and reigned for 40 years. In the same way, Jesus was baptized at the age of 30 and preached for 3 years. However to fulfill the 40 year reign, the second coming Christ must come and fulfill the remaining 37 years of gospel work. Then after King David reigned for forty years, what happened? He died a peaceful death as an old man. Second coming Christ must do the same to fulfill this prophecy. In addition, the second coming Christ must come as high priest in the order of Melchizedek. However, according to the law of the city of refuge, the high priest must die in order for the prisoners to be released and return home. In order for us to return to our heavenly country, the second coming Christ must die. Second coming Christ came to re-establish the Passover bread and wine as high priest. But this covenant could not be put into effect without his death (Hebrews Ch. 9, 15-16). However, because people don’t understand the bible prophecies they take the words of the bible out of context (Matthew Ch. 22, 29).
